What did I want to blog about?
Pause.
It's something about DBSK, so all you who don't like/listen to them, this isn't the post for you.
BUT.
it's about why i absolutely heart them.
OH RIGHT.
I just want to say that although I'm a diehard fangirl of DBSK, but I think that their hip/pelvis-thrusting movement are too overused... although I still secretly scream in my brain everytime I see them do it on youtube videos. Fifteen year olds weren't meant to be studying too hard, they were probably meant to spazz over hot guys e.g. Kim Jae Joong. Especially when he's being sexy. And there's nothing wrong with that.
And spreading the DBSK love in school has been pretty fun. :) since Tanya and Rachel are Super Junior fans, Fei Min is a SS501 fan, and Patricia, Tay and I are Jaejoong fans. HAHA.
i think what really attracts me is (no, not jaejoong, surprise surprise) the difference of their voices. jaejoong and junsu's voice stands out right from the very start; jaejoong's voice is like water, clear and smooth and can reach the high notes (listen to whatever they say a capella) while junsu has this very husky -sexy- scratchy powerful voice which can (according to the members and others) make the listeners "feel the song" (listen to asu wara kuru kara). whereas yunho and changmin's voice are slightly more... rappish and screamo respectively. yunho has the rapper voice which can be super nice while singing (purple line and any other songs), and changmin can really scream-sing (he screams in tune, omg) but it's just that his vocals are really good (rising sun and mirotic). yoochun's voice is just plain... versatile. it can range from super soothing (even more soothing than jaejoong, gasps - at least to me) to shout-singing, which honestly turns me off. i mean changmin's voice is p-e-r-f-e-c-t for screaming, but yoochun's isn't. although he can shout-sing/scream-sing, but i think he's way better singing the lower notes. ah. the best part is that when they sing in harmony, everyone's voices blend in perfectly. it's like eating the best meal of your life, except it's in audio form. it's like all the colours blending in perfectly to form a perfect rainbow. :) hence the reason why i reaaaally love their a capella. haha. and guess what? i don't care if you say i know nothing about music/am tonedeaf/hasn't even seen the best/newest/popular-est bands. i guess i'm really stuck on dbsk huh.
